What are Prado’s Branch Circuit Requirements?
For hardwired Docking Drawer outlets mounted in a back box (without the optional self-contained cap), each outlet requires a dedicated branch circuit. The supply wiring must enter the device box from outside, with no splices or connections to other devices inside the same box. Be sure to install a cover plate to seal off the back box. If the self-contained cap is used, a back box is not required. Our corded models include a 5ft cable and a NEMA 5-15 plug, allowing you to connect them to any standard outlet.
