What happens if liquid spills over the Point Pod Pop-Up Outlet?

Point Pod Connect is designed with safety in mind, featuring an IP44 rating, which means it is resistant to splashes of water. If a spill occurs:

1. Surface Cleanup: Quickly wipe up any liquid on the countertop around the Point Pod.

2. Under-Cabinet Check:

• The Point Pod’s mounting flange has weep holes that allow liquid to drain into the cabinet below, protecting the electrical components.
• Open the cabinet under the Point Pod and clean up any liquid that has dripped through.

3. Test the Unit: After cleaning, raise and lower the Point Pod to ensure it is still functioning. The IP44 rating ensures the unit is protected from electrical damage due to spills, but prompt cleaning is recommended to maintain its condition.
