Why isn’t my Blade Outlet Turning On or Off Properly?

If your Docking Drawer Blade Series in-drawer outlet is paired with a Safety Outlet with Blade Limit Switch and it’s not functioning the way you expect, there’s one common issue to check first:

👉 The most frequent cause is that the Blade Switch hasn’t been installed in the correct position.

Step 1: Confirm the Mounting Position of the Switch

The Blade Switch must be secured to the rear mounting bracket of your Docking Drawer Blade Series outlet.

Because the switch monitors the motion of the cable management arms, its placement is critical. The switch is also adjustable, which allows you to set the exact point where power cuts on and off as the drawer opens and closes.

Simply repositioning the switch to the right location resolves the majority of on/off power concerns immediately.
