I didn’t see any videos or real time reviews of installing the docking station in a drawer so here are mine to help someone else out. We ended up having to move the plug to the middle of the drawer so that with an inset drawer in a 24 deep cabinet it was able to close all the way. We had to cut a full piece of wood to place across the back of the drawer to make a false back. We tried the spacer that you could buy, but it cracked and didn’t work installed to the far right with an inset drawer! (I called customer service and submitted a refund request and they quickly issue it for the spacer.. Thank you!) We now have the docking station plugs installed and I’m so excited! Next counter tops!

This was relatively easy to install with the proper tools. I feel good about it having the built-in thermostat for shut-off. Note: This is not the automatic shut-off when the drawer closes. Products are pretty pricey. I saw other knock-off products that were much less expensive but clearly not the quality as the Docking Drawer. They also don't come with the level of support you can get from Docking Drawer. Installation instruction were excellent!

Quality of the kit is very good, instructions are clear and include a very helpful template. If you can drill a 1/2” hole and use a small jigsaw, the rest is relatively simple.

This is an amazing item that’s indispensable in any modern kitchen. This company had the only one I could find that was sold anywhere that had a sensor for overheating, giving me such security and comfort. The extra fast supercharge area is wonderful because the minute you notice that your phone is going low, you plug it in there and within minutes you’ve got way enough charge to get through the rest of your day. I cannot recommend this more.
