How to Add GFCI Properties to Blade In-Drawer Outlets

If a Blade Series Outlet is installed in a location that requires a GFCI by code, there are 4 ways to accomplish this:

Option 1 - Plug into a GFCI outlet

Blade series outlet plugged into GFCI receptacle

Option 2 - Wired in a series with a GFCI outlet

Blade series outlet plugged into outlet that is wired in series with a GFCI receptacle

Option 3 - Use a Blade Series with GFCI (1514-150)

Blade outlet that features GFCI properties

Option 4 - Plug into an outlet on a GFCI circuit

Blade outlet that is plugged into receptacle on a GFCI circuit
